This site is simply dedicated to revealing the truth about how Busted really started-out and how the big hits that made the band famous were written ... ... unfortunately, the band's fans have been misled about this for the last 4 years and Ki and myself have been airbrushed out of Busted's history ... ... also, neither of us have ever a received a penny in royalties ... ... we did want to try and resolve all of this in a friendly way, but the full extent of our involvement has, bizarrely, been totally denied ... ... so now "It's What I Go To Court For"

Ki and I started the band that became Busted in January 2001 and we auditioned and recruited James first and then Matt. Together, the four of us then went on to write and demo many songs, including "What I Go To School For", "Year 3000", "Sleeping With The Light On" and "Psycho Girl". If you click on the link below, you'll be able to view a Sky News report that explains the story so far :

Contrast this with what James and Matt have said in interviews about our working and living together for the best part of a year * :

Look at this pic I found. And we thought you were cool! Please explain. [They all crack up laughing]

Matt: That photo was taken when we were about 14. We were this terrible twosome, and we got these two other people involved, to write with us. So these two showed up, then we had a quick photo shoot taken in the back garden under a tree.

James: You can tell we're taking the p***, though!

Matt: As you can probably tell, that didn't last very long. It was about four days, I think.

Charlie: I would like to point out that I was not involved.

You can also click on the link below to see and hear the truth about the story of the band's name and Geri Halliwell :

Again, contrast this with what has been said in interviews and make-up your own minds* (Charlie didn't actually join the band until six months after the Geri / MTV broadcast !!) :

Who came up with the name and what does it mean?

Charlie: Geri Halliwell came up with it. We were originally called Buster, and Mattie's friend called up an MTV request show to give us a shout out.

James: To cut a long story short, Geri was presenting the show and she misheard and called us Busted.

Charlie: We liked that better, so thanks Geri!
